how it began…

In September 2025 we put out a video call to activists inviting them to bring joy into their lives through comedy:

In Nigeria we invited activists to submit videos of short comedy sketches. You can view the submissions we received here:

In the UK we invited activists to join a training course, taught by Jane Japes, which took place in-person and online.

By April 2026 we were ready to host comedy shows in both Benin City, Nigeria and London, UK.
